So yeah if it will make a lot of people happy and valve a lot of money why not make it happen. Fallout 3 on the other hand would take the rest of my life. Another reason to play Half-life 3 first is because it would probably take 7-10 hours to play through. I knew a new Fallout would come out eventually, but Half-life 3 would be something beyond S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Some people have said that releasing half life 3 could damage Valve's reputation but really at this point I already think its kind of already damaged due to things like the lack of quality control on steam greenlight, the disaster that was paid mods, and finally the lackluster performance of steam os I have been waiting for it longer in my mind. But so long as it finally provided closure all those who have waited all these years and makes a lot of people happy and of course earns valve a ton of money it doesn't really matter that much does it? My point to all of this is that half life 3 will probably not be able to please everybody and disappointment for others is inevitable. So just because it disappointed people and maybe it wasn't able to live up to all its hype does that mean that fallout 4 was a failure? No of course not, even it may have disappointed a substantial number of people it still made a shit ton more people really happy not to mention for bethesda it was huge financial success in terms of sales. Their frustration tends to either lean towards technical issues, it being too similar to the last game, or controversally it being to different. Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, welcome you to the world of Fallout 4 their most ambitious game ever, and the next generation of open-world gaming.
But at the same time numerous people have shown disappointment (at least 7000 on steam) Yes as in it did receive positive scores and a ton of people really loved it and I'm sure it will most certainly make a lot of top 10 games of 2015 lists. One question surrounding fallout 4 after it was released like it will with half life 3 if it is released, is did fallout 4 live up to the massive wave of hype surrounding it?
So I feel that fallout 4 might be a good example of what the release of half life 3 might be like. Plausibility for Fallout - it could be an FEV experiment Do we need much plausibility to shoot bees at enemies 3. Death Animations 2.4 - 3.0 Effects GFX 6.84kb Blindside's Weapon Reanimation and Rebalance - 'Loner' Models Pack 63.29mb 2.0.0 Grok's Body Health System Redux HUDs 6. What would Fallout 4 have in common with half life 3 if Half Life 3 ever came out? Well they both are sequels to beloved franchises, they both went through long development cycles during which there was tons of speculation done on both and the developers were frequently hounded for information on it, and of course they both had a massive wave of hype surrounding them.
